Group header size "stuck"

Post by walkerl26 » Thu Feb 28, 2013 9:14 pm

I have created a very simple test report layout file. For some reason the layout editor will not let me make the height of the group header less than 55 pixels. The font size is well below that.

Layout file attached: curious how to stop this...

Hi Larry,

It looks like there are some 'left-over' items in the band ; the downside of the 'draw' approach is that it is too easy to create tiny report items that you can't see afterwards.
The easiest way to hunt these down is to select any item (such as the 'Page Header Text' label field) in the layout window, and then in the Properties palette use the triangle to the right of the 'Selected item' field to select the items in the band ; check if they're wanted, and if not, delete them.

HTH,

Jan Schenkel.
